It has only been a few short months since Coatbridge was considered to be one of the luckiest bingo playing towns in the UK. This was because of the fact that one lucky land based bingo player was fortunate enough to win ₤1.2 million. As a result of the struggling land based bingo industry, the Minister of Sports recently announced that land based bingo clubs will be able to have more highly lucrative slots machines in their clubs to boost income. Although this has not yet come into effect, and as we know the wheels of Government turn really slowly, we were actually wondering if the result of the announcement might have some sort of knock on effect for the online bingo industry.
