Party Gaming Earns ITV Bingo Night Live Boost, But Experiences Losses

They believe that the cause for this was the distraction caused by the Euro 2008 football championship tournament.

Bingo Night Live Presenter Remembers Playing Bingo With Mum

Nichola Dixon remembers playing bingo with her mother at the local Mecca Bingo club in New York Street when she was about 16. Although how she could have been playing bingo at sixteen, when the legal age is eighteen, is quite beyond me?? She also says that she remembers it really wasn’t a very cool thing to do. But that was a far cry from the presenting of a glitzy bingo show for ITV and this is exactly what she is presently doing with Michael Underwood and Melinda Messenger.

Online Bingo Developer Earmarks ₤112 million for Acquisitions

Playtech, the popular online bingo software developer has earmarked the phenomenal amount of ₤112 million for new acquisitions. They managed to raise this money by floating 21 620 946 new ordinary shares onto the stock market at a price of 52p each. The fact that the shares were snatched up and the company raised so much money with the sale of these shares indicates that there is a great deal of investor confidence in Playtech.

Pensioners Hold Bingo Night to Raise Funds

A group of pensioners who are residents at Middi Haines Court in Highworth, held a bingo night to assist a police officer who had lost his leg in a motor bike accident. The were very fond of PC Miles who used to pop in and have a cup of tea with the elderly ladies on occasion. He lost his leg when he was riding home and had a collision with a 4 x 4. Forty Eight year old PC Miles is married with two small children and said that he was just happy to still be alive. (more…)
